Acceptable Use Policy

1. Who this applies to
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses VisionLabs — the Workspace chat, the Studio editor, generated images and video, and any exports. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using VisionLabs you agree to it, and you are responsible for everything created under your account, including by your team members or clients you invite.
2. You are using AI
VisionLabs is an AI tool. Chat replies are generated by AI language models, and images and videos are generated by AI image/video models. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, or unintentionally similar to existing work, and is provided as is. You are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on or publish it.
If you share or publish AI-generated content created here, you must not present it as created solely by a human where doing so would mislead, and you must comply with any applicable AI-disclosure laws (including EU AI Act Article 50 transparency rules).
3. Content you may not create
You may not use VisionLabs to generate, upload, store or distribute content that:
- sexually exploits or endangers minors (CSAM) in any form — zero tolerance;
- is non-consensual intimate imagery, or a deepfake / impersonation of a real person used to deceive, defame, or without their consent;
- promotes hate, harassment, violence, terrorism, or self-harm, or dehumanises people based on protected characteristics;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property — including reproducing or imitating existing logos, trademarks, or copyrighted characters/artwork (see §5);
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or facilitates scams, phishing, malware, or spam;
- is election, health, or other misinformation likely to cause real-world harm;
- misuses personal or biometric data, or surveils or tracks individuals without a lawful basis;
- provides instructions for weapons, explosives, or cyberattacks;
- is sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful in the place you operate.
You also may not probe, scan, overload or interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass safety filters or rate limits, expose our model APIs or keys to others, or use outputs to train a competing AI model.
4. Provenance & watermarks
Generated assets may carry provenance information so they can be recognised as AI-made — for example, Google's invisible SynthID watermark embedded in Veo videos, metadata embedded by image providers, and the Ed25519 signatures we add to vector exports. You may not remove, obscure, or tamper with this provenance information, and we do not offer any feature to strip it. This protects you and is required by our providers and by the EU AI Act.
5. Other people's brands & IP
VisionLabs is a design tool, so logo and brand work carries real IP risk. You are responsible for making sure what you create does not infringe an existing trademark, copyright, or design right, and for any clearance (e.g. trademark search) before commercial use. We do not warrant that AI output is original or non-infringing, and our model providers do not indemnify you for it. Do not use VisionLabs to deliberately copy a competitor's mark or pass off someone else's brand as your own.
6. Our model providers' rules
We deliver AI features through Anthropic (Claude) and, via FAL, through Google (Veo), Recraft, Ideogram and Black Forest Labs (FLUX). Your use must also comply with their acceptable-use and prohibited-use policies, which we pass through to you. Where their rules are stricter than this AUP, the stricter rule applies. Commercial rights to generated assets are provided to paying customers; free-tier output may be subject to provider restrictions.
7. Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to meet our providers' minimum-age requirements (at least 18 for some model providers). You must not use VisionLabs from territories subject to applicable sanctions, or in violation of export-control law.
8. Enforcement & reporting
If you believe content created with VisionLabs violates this policy — or infringes your rights — email us at team@visionlabs.studio. We review reports and may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP, with or without notice depending on severity. We may also be legally required to report certain content (such as CSAM) to the authorities.
